Male BBL in Atlanta

A lot of men want shapely, well-defined buttocks that look strong and full. This, however, has not always been easy to achieve. Atlanta plastic surgeon, Dr. Nicholas Jones offers a simple cosmetic solution - the male butt lift.

Some men attempt to augment their existing profile through a rigorous regime of diet and exercise. Others might have butts that are naturally fat and mostly immune to exercise and diets. Many men look for a process which is not so demanding, to achieve a more attractive and masculine butt.

One method of achieving the exact results you want comes courtesy of the male BBL. We do not only offer this service to women but make these great results available to men who wish to take advantage of posterior enhancement. This method of butt augmentation uses fat transplanted from another area of your own body and can be completed in a matter of hours, with results you can flaunt for years to come.

What is Male BBL?

A male Brazilian Butt Lift is a plastic surgery procedure that involves liposuction, removing fat deposits from unwanted areas, most commonly the abdomen (stomach), waist, and back. The harvested fat is then injected or grafted into the buttocks, creating the desired effect.

The process contours and shapes your body and adds volume, resulting in a stronger, sharper, and more endowed appearance. A BBL not only improves the shape and volume of your buttocks but also proportionally reduces your midsection, giving you a much more proportional, consistent look. With one simple procedure, you get to look better, feel better, fit more closely in your clothes, and enjoy a healthy boost in self-confidence and satisfaction.

There are subtle differences between the typical female BBL in which fat is injected into the hips to create softer curves and rounder buttocks. Most Atlanta male BBL patients desire a more defined and square buttocks, so fat is not typically injected into the hips. However, Dr. Jones can modify the procedure to get your desired look.

The Male BBL Procedure

Before the procedure, you will meet with Dr. Jones to ensure that you are an ideal candidate. At that time, he will discuss the procedure with you and get you prepared for surgery. This may include taking medication prescribed by the clinic, altering existing medications, undergoing lab studies including a COVID-19 test.

A male BBL procedure takes about 3-4 hours using general anesthesia. It is a simple, three-part process with the following steps:

  • The fat is typically harvested from the upper / lower abdomen, flanks, lower back and hip area using liposuction. In certain cases, other areas with excess fat, like the arms might also be treated and used as viable sources of healthy fat. Apart from harvesting the fat, the procedure achieves a more defined waist and helps reshape the torso.
  • The fat is then separated from the tumescent fluid and blood byproducts aspirated from liposuction. The entire process is done in a closed system, so the fat remains sterile to limit contamination thus reducing the possibility of infection.
  • This fat is then injected into the buttock area at varying amounts and depths to create the right shape, volume, and contour. Fat is not injected deep to the muscle because it is dangerous and not the standard of practice.

Male BBL Risk and Recovery

Before the procedure, we always make our patients aware of the inherent risks and side effects that can occur.

You might experience some fluid drainage from the liposuction cannula port sites, contour irregularities, bruising, excessive drainage from access sites, changes to your skin surface, inflammation, and bloating. However, these symptoms go away naturally over time. You would also not be able to sit or put weight on your buttocks for 2-4 weeks after the procedure.

During the recovery, it is important that you wear a compression garment and avoid stress or pressure on the buttock area. In addition, we strongly recommend lymphatic massages within the first 24-36 hours after surgery with a licensed massage therapist that is versed in postoperative care. Overall recovery from male BBL takes about 4-6 weeks and results can be completely visible within 2-3 months. It is crucial to closely adhere to all instructions and advice provided by our clinic to achieve fast and smooth recovery and the desired results.
